Project Description
Product description
VAGI-C® vaginal tablets contains silicon coated vitamin C (ascorbic acid) that, when inserted deeply into the vagina releases slowly the ascorbic. This slow release produces a fast and 24 h duration normalization of the vaginal pH around 4.0, promoting the growth of natural vaginal flora and inhibiting the growth of unwanted bacteria.
Intended use
Vagi-C® vaginal tablets are designed to provide a natural protection of the vaginal microenvironment through the maintenance or restoration of the physiological pH. The application of VAGI-C® vaginal tablets rapidly renders the vaginal environment unsuitable to the growth of undesirable anaerobes, which are responsible for the development of bacterial vaginosis, also during pregnancy. VAGI-C® vaginal tablets help in the treatment and prevention of bacterial vaginosis. It is particularly useful in patients with relapses and as a follow-up to traditional antibiotics.
